MONIQUE TATINA
Is a multidisciplinary artist
based out of Paris and New York City
An American artist of Afro-American and Guyanese origins, she was raised in the sweltering heat of South Florida and later moved to the iconic New York skyline. Her work reclaims the over-sexualization and vilification of women, embracing raunchy themes and disturbing forms; fusing beauty with discomfort.

As a person of color in the predominantly white Parisian art landscape, she brings a unique perspective, exploring the complexities of identity, otherness, and power. Inspired by her fascination with voluptuous forms, horror films, and jewel-toned hues, she crafts macabre, evocative pieces that explore femininity's darker, more powerful side.
